Dr Thomas King

Dr King is a highly experienced Consultant Dermatologist based in Sheffield, UK. He holds a dual role at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals with a 70% clinical and 30% medical education. Dr King plays a key role in teaching medical students at the University of Sheffield, where he is Deputy Director for the later years of the Medical School. He is also the Training Programmer for Dermatology in South Yorkshire, supporting the development of future dermatologists across the region.

Dr King specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of skin conditions including: inflammatory skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne as well as skin cancer. His weekly schedule includes a dedicated skin surgery list, and he runs a paediatric dermatology clinic at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. He is also an active member of the acute dermatology on-call team in Sheffield, managing urgent skin issues and supporting hospital-based dermatology care.

To improve patient access to expert skin care, Dr King has a dermatology clinic at LivingCare Sheffield, located at the Canon Medical Arena.
