Dr Pravin Jha is a Consultant Geriatrician with more than 20 years’ experience. He specialises in memory loss and dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and TIA, dizziness, falls, frailty, osteoporosis and complex medical problems in older adults.

Dr Jha completed his specialist training in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in the West Midlands and currently holds NHS consultant posts at Rotherham General Hospital and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. He also provides private consultations at LivingCare.

His approach is comprehensive and person-centred, bringing together physical health, cognition, medications, mobility and function to provide a clear diagnosis and practical management plan.

Dr Jha provides clear diagnoses where possible, identify reversible contributors, and develop personalised management plans covering treatment, lifestyle, risk reduction, and future planning. All patients receive a detailed written report, which is also shared with their GP to ensure continuity of care.

Dr Jha also offers Home visits particularly for patients with mobility issues, significant frailty, or where a clinic attendance isn't practical. Same-day visits can usually be arranged. The assessment is carried out to the same standard as the clinic appointment with a full report dictated to the GP (copy to the patient/family) within 24 hours.
