Dr Pravin Jha

Dr Pravin Jha is a Consultant Geriatrician with over 20 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and managing complex health conditions in older adults.

Dr Jha completed his specialist training in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in the West Midlands and currently holds NHS consultant posts at Rotherham General Hospital and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. He also provides private consultations at LivingCare.

Dr Jha’s practice focuses on delivering senior, consultant-led care for a wide range of age-related conditions, including memory disorders, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and transient ischaemic attack (TIA), osteoporosis, dizziness, falls, frailty and complex multi-morbidity.

Dr Jha takes a structured, problem-solving approach. Rather than managing symptoms in isolation, he identifies underlying causes of cognitive and functional decline, integrating physical, psychological, and social factors to reach a clear, accurate diagnosis. His private service is designed to be comprehensive and efficient. Each consultation includes a detailed clinical assessment, cognitive evaluation, medication review, and functional assessment. Dr Jha provides clear diagnoses where possible, identify reversible contributors, and develop personalised management plans covering treatment, lifestyle, risk reduction, and future planning.

All patients receive a detailed written report, which is also shared with their GP to ensure continuity of care.
