Angela Pericleous-Smith brings over 20 years of specialised fertility counselling experience to LivingCare's comprehensive fertility services. As our Senior Specialist Fertility Counsellor, she provides essential emotional and psychological support throughout a challenging and complex journey for many individuals and couples.

Drawing on her extensive experience across the NHS, private fertility clinics and private practice, Angela offers a holistic approach to fertility counselling. Her practice embraces people from all backgrounds, including heterosexual and same-sex couples, single parents by choice, and those exploring donation, surrogacy and adoption as pathways to parenthood. Her compassionate, non-judgmental style creates a safe space where clients feel genuinely heard and empowered to make informed decisions.

Angela's national standing as Chair of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA), Counsellor Representative for the British Fertility Society (BFS), and Trustee for the Fertility Alliance underscores her exceptional expertise. She has co-authored pivotal industry guidelines, including the BICA Guidelines for Good Practice in Fertility Counselling and Counselling in Surrogacy in UK Licensed Centres. At the same time, her research has examined crucial aspects of infertility's emotional impact.
