The Knee X-ray & MRI Trial was designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of intra-articular RTX-GRT7039 injections in participants experiencing moderate to severe knee pain associated with osteoarthritis.
Diagnostic imaging formed a key part of the study, supporting participant screening and eligibility assessment.
LivingCare was commissioned to deliver the imaging component of the trial in line with the study’s defined imaging requirements and timelines.
LivingCare supported the study by delivering knee X-ray and MRI imaging within agreed timeframes to support screening and clinical decision-making.
Participants were initially screened by the research partner, with knee X-rays arranged within five days of referral. X-ray findings determined whether additional MRI imaging was required, with MRI appointments coordinated within five days of notification.
LivingCare managed appointment scheduling, completed all imaging safety checks, and delivered examinations in line with agreed clinical and imaging standards.
Imaging reports were produced as required and imaging outputs were uploaded securely to the research partner’s systems. Processes were in place to ensure accurate data handling, appropriate anonymisation during transfer, and alignment with study governance and reporting requirements.
Imaging services were delivered in line with strict protocol timelines, supporting efficient participant screening and uninterrupted study progression.
The structured and responsive imaging pathway ensured that research timelines were maintained and that high-quality diagnostic data were available for sponsor-led analysis.
