Colonoscopy Trial - Panthera

Published on

Project Overview

LivingCare supported a clinical research trial focused on colonoscopy procedures, providing end-to-end coordination, patient engagement and timely clinical reporting to support the study objectives.

Our Role

LivingCare managed the full patient pathway for the study, beginning with receipt of patient details and completion of the full booking process. Patients were contacted directly to arrange colonoscopy appointments and supported through a pre-assessment telephone call with a nurse. Bowel preparation was prescribed and posted directly to patients’ home addresses ahead of their procedure.

Following each colonoscopy, LivingCare ensured prompt clinical reporting. Colonoscopy reports were provided within 24 hours of the procedure. Where biopsies were taken, samples were sent for histology testing and histology reports were issued alongside a written letter from the clinician who carried out the procedure.

Outcomes

The study was delivered on time and in line with agreed requirements, providing the research partner with high-quality, real-world clinical data. The structured and consistent approach supported reliable data capture and a smooth experience for both patients and the research team throughout the study period.

Why it worked well:

  • Efficient management of the complete patient journey
  • Reliable and timely clinical and histology reporting
  • Strong coordination between clinical and research teams
