Cosmetic services are procedures designed to enhance or restore your appearance by addressing specific aesthetic concerns. LivingCare offers a range of minimally invasive and surgical options to help you look and feel your best. Our expert team focuses on delivering natural results tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Our procedures provide safe, professional solutions for rejuvenating your eyes, removing unwanted skin blemishes or correcting earlobe imperfections.
Cosmetic procedures can improve confidence and quality of life by addressing physical features that may cause self-consciousness or discomfort. They’re more common than you think, with over 30,000 procedures in the UK annually, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. At LivingCare, we ensure every patient receives a personalised consultation to determine the best treatment for their needs.
Our cosmetic services include:
Blepharoplasty removes excess skin, fat, or muscle from the eyelids to achieve a smoother, less sagging appearance. It is effective for treating:
The procedure is performed on the upper or lower eyelids, or on both eyelids – depending on what you need.
This service involves the removal of moles, skin tags, or other benign skin lesions for cosmetic or functional reasons. Our specialists use advanced techniques to minimise scarring and ensure the best possible results. It is suitable for:
Earlobe correction repairs torn or stretched earlobes, often the result of injury or even heavy earrings. The procedure restores the natural shape of the earlobe, allowing patients to wear earrings comfortably again.
Before: You’ll begin with a detailed consultation from our cosmetic surgeon to determine your suitability. At the consultation, we'll discuss your goals, medical history, and any risks involved.
During: The procedure typically takes 1-2 hours under local anaesthesia with sedation. If the procedure is more complex, you may be given general anaesthesia. Incisions are carefully placed in the eyelids' natural creases to minimise visible scarring.
After: Mild swelling or bruising may occur, but most patients return to regular activities within 7-10 days. Final results are noticeable within a few weeks as healing progresses.
Before: Our dermatology team will assess the lesion to confirm it is benign and discuss the removal process.
During: Depending on the size and location, the procedure involves excision or freezing (cryotherapy). Local anaesthesia ensures minimal discomfort.
After: Healing typically takes 1-2 weeks. We provide you with proper aftercare to reduce the risk of infection or scarring.
Before: A consultation with our specialist will address the cause of the earlobe damage and outline the surgical repair process.
During: The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and usually takes 30-60 minutes. Torn or stretched tissue is removed, and the earlobe is reshaped and sutured.
After: Stitches are removed after 7-10 days, and patients can resume wearing earrings after complete healing, which takes around 6-8 weeks.
While cosmetic procedures are generally safe, potential risks include:

Although traditionally seen as cosmetic surgery, an Upper Blepharoplasty can address medical symptoms too. An Upper Blepharoplasty aims to improve hooded or drooping eyelids. The results are a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance, a clearer field of vision and a reduction of wrinkles on the forehead. In addition, the procedure can reduce or address the symptoms associated with several medical conditions e.g. Ptosis (also known as Blepharoptosis), Dermatochalasis, Chronic eyelid discomfort, headaches or brow strain.
During an Upper Blepharoplasty, incisions are made in the creases of the upper eyelids and the lines above the eyelashes. The excess skin and fat in the upper lid are then removed and fine dissolvable stitches are used to close the wound.
An Upper Blepharoplasty procedure is carried out after local anesthetic. This will ensure that no pain or discomfort is felt during the procedure. Post surgery you may experience pain from the swelling and bruising which can be managed with prescribed painkillers.
The refreshed and rejuvenated appearance created by an Upper Blepharoplasty will begin to be seen as the swelling and bruising from the operation subsides. Typically this can take two to four weeks although this can vary between patients. Further subtle refinements will continue over several months before settling.
The duration of your procedure depends on the service: Blepharoplasty typically takes 1-2 hours. Mole & skin tag removal usually takes less than 30 minutes. Earlobe correction is completed in 30-60 minutes.
For most procedures performed under local anaesthesia, you can usually drive home afterwards. However, if sedation or general anaesthesia is used, you’ll need someone to drive you.
Recovery times vary for each of our procedures. Here’s a guide for you: for blepharoplasty, light activities can resume in 7-10 days. Mole and skin tag removal generally allows normal activities the same day. Earlobe correction requires avoiding pressure on the ears for 1-2 weeks.
