Medical Receptionist

Overview

This role will be one of the first points of contact for our patients who are contacting and visiting LivingCare. We require an individual who is actively able to multi-task and maintain the highest customer service standards.

This role is responsible for the meeting, greeting, and processing our patients at our clinic this includes any follow up and patient correspondence in what can be a busy environment. The role also includes booking patient appointments in person and via telephone. 

You will treat our patients as individuals showing the greatest respect, humility, compassion and warmth.

We want dedicated individuals who are keen to put our patients at the heart of everything we do.

LivingCare are rapidly growing across Yorkshire, with reaches further across the country. We continue to develop new services across our private and NHS provision.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Completing check in duties
  • Managing post clinic administration
  • Making onward referrals where required
  • Responding to enquiries over email
  • Managing patient booking follow up from clinics
  • Ensuring patient satisfaction
  • Admin related to patient appointments
  • Entering and fulfilling all SystmOne requirements
  • Ensuring all processes are completed for patients booking appointments with LivingCare
  • Keeping track on waiting times and escalating where appropriate
  • Any responsibility within the customer service function.

Knowledge, skills and experience
