We’re excited to announce that we’ve enhanced our MRI services with cutting-edge AI technology, thanks to our adoption of Siemens’ Deep Resolve system. This advanced solution is now part of our MRI service at our Leeds clinic, helping us deliver higher-quality scans, faster appointments and a better overall experience for our patients.

As the first private healthcare provider in the North of England to use Deep Resolve on a 3T scanner, we are now using AI to reduce image noise and produce high-resolution scans more efficiently. Shorter scan times allow us to increase appointment availability while making the experience more comfortable for patients.

Where traditional MRI scans rely on patients remaining recumbent for long periods of time to ascertain strong enough imagery for diagnosis, a shortened length of time in the scanner makes MRI more accessible for those living with intense pain, for whom staying still is a big barrier to effective imaging. By using AI-assisted imaging, we can make the process easier and ensure patients get accurate diagnostics more comfortably.

This technology builds on our ongoing commitment to investing in diagnostic imaging. Our advanced 3T MRI scanner delivers exceptional image clarity, supporting our clinicians in providing precise and confident diagnoses.

From February, patients at our Thorpe Park clinic in Leeds will have access to MRI scans enhanced with Deep Resolve.

Helen Haigh, our Head of Imaging, said:

“We are extremely pleased to introduce Deep Resolve for MRI services at our Leeds Thorpe Park clinic. The improved clarity and resolution it delivers gives our clinical teams greater confidence when interpreting scans, supporting more accurate diagnosis. The reduced scan time also improves comfort for patients while allowing us to increase appointment availability.”

Dr Stephen Feldman, our Founder and Director, added:

“This is a significant step forward not only for LivingCare Group, but for diagnostic imaging more broadly. The introduction of Deep Resolve demonstrates the practical role AI can play in improving image quality, efficiency and clinical decision-making in healthcare. The UK continues to lag behind many comparable countries in imaging provision, with fewer scanners and ageing infrastructure. We are committed to providing both patients and clinicians with access to modern, high-quality diagnostic services, and to leading by example in how advanced technology can be used to support accurate diagnosis and care.”

We’re proud to be at the forefront of AI-powered imaging, combining advanced technology with our patient-focused approach. By investing in tools like Deep Resolve, we continue to improve the speed, comfort and accuracy of MRI scans, helping our patients access the care they need with confidence. We remain dedicated to delivering the highest standards in diagnostic services and look forward to bringing these benefits to even more people across Leeds and beyond.
