Yorkshire-based private healthcare provider, LivingCare Group, has today announced the launch of its full body MRI service, further bolstering its expertise in diagnostic care.
Demand for preventative health checks continues to rise across the UK, with face-to-face health assessments more than doubling in the past two years (1) and Google reporting a 40% increase in searches for “health screenings” (2), reflecting growing interest in self-funded diagnostics and proactive health monitoring.
The new imaging service will be available at the Leeds clinic. Following the introduction of 3T MRI scanners and AI-enhanced image reconstruction technology, the service offers a non-invasive assessment of multiple key areas in a single appointment.
Typically used alongside an individual’s clinical history and risk factors, full body MRI can help identify internal changes or abnormalities that may not yet be causing symptoms, supporting earlier clinical review where appropriate.
As the first private healthcare provider in the North of England to implement the technology on a 3T scanner, the service reduces scan times while maintaining image quality, supporting increased capacity, improved appointment availability and greater patient comfort.
