Supporting Grass Root Sports

As a provider of healthcare we are passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the community.

On the weekend of the 14th September we sponsored the "Yorkshire Mashin'" event hosted by True Cycling Limited (www.true-cycling.com) The event saw cyclists ride from Ilkley to Filey and back over the weekend. Covering over 350km and over 2000 ft of climbing it was true to be a challenging weekend.

We were keen to get involved in the event as it not only promoted health and wellbeing across Leeds and Yorkshire it also was being supported by local businesses. As a business that has been born and bred in Leeds it is very important that we support such events and within the business economy.

We linked in with The Commute Cafe, North Brewing Co, Chevin Cycles, Hopey Bicycle Repairs and YorCyberSec to support the event.

In a year where Harrogate is hosting the UCI World Championships, the success of the Tour de Yorkshire continues and individuals entering the sport continues to grow it is a real opportunity for LivingCare to promote its sports medicine and injury packages.

LivingCare provides medical services to over 100 professional sports clubs and athletes across Yorkshire. Our treatment schedules are cost effective and work on preventative basis - reducing that chance to place you in any operating theatre. Our MRI is a 3T wide bore - leading to high quality images and a wider bore which reduces claustrophobia.

Here are a few images and videos from the event with a short film being produced in the next few weeks.
