LivingCare’s gastroenterology service is run by specialist consultant Gastroenterologists, who are experienced in the full range of upper and lower gastroenterology conditions and can provide a service from consultation through to assessment and treatment.
Who is it for?
Our Gastroenterology service is suitable for patients of all ages who might already have a diagnosed gastroenterology condition or might be showing symptoms of one.
You may need to see a Gastroenterologist if you are experiencing any of the following:
You may have Dyspepsia symptoms e.g. heartburn, reflux, epigastric pain, bloating, nausea and fullness
You may have unresolved gastrointestinal symptoms
You may need an endoscopic examination (Small camera inserted through throat/back passage) or treatment trial but would benefit from seeing a Gastroenterologist first
Irritable bowel syndrome type symptoms
Suspected malabsorption e.g. coeliac disease, lactose intolerance
