Role summary (for candidates)

We are seeking a commercially focused Private Healthcare Sales & Services Coordinator to manage the patient from the initial enquiry through to booking whilst delivering an exceptional patient experience. You will manage patient enquiries from the website, phone and through webchat. In addition you will work with clinical partners (e.g. physiotherapists and GPs) and internal referrals from other LivingCare clinical services.

With the patient’s needs always at the centre of everything you do, you will collaborate with clinical and operational teams to minimise waiting times and maximise capacity.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

  • Support patients from their initial enquiry to booking in for an appointment
  • Manage enquiries from all channels (webform, telephone, clinical referrals, webchat, internal referrals) within agreed SLAs
  • Provide accurate information on services, pricing, availability and pre-appointment preparation requirements
  • Complete all booking processes, confirmations, pre‑attendance requirements and onward referrals
  • Keep precise records in the CRM and Booking systems, always following GDPR and information governance standards
  • Feed back common themes, conversion barriers and content gaps to improve engagement with patients

Essential candidate profile

  • Positive, resilient, target‑driven, and patient‑centric
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting conversion or booking targets
  • Confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner and persuasive written skills
  • Strong multi‑tasking and prioritisation in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting
  • Competent user of CRM and booking tools; comfortable with webchat, email and telephony
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy

Desirable

  • Familiarity with private healthcare and diagnostic imaging pathways and terminology
  • Experience with practice management scheduling / diary systems
  • Understanding of self‑pay and insured patient journeys (quotes, authorisations, invoices)

Compliance & pre‑employment

  • Right to Work in the UK is mandatory
  • DBS may be required (level confirmed at offer) under LivingCare’s Safer Recruitment approach
  • Employment references covering the last 3 years (minimum 2)
